Dear all,
Thank you so much!
Thank you to all for having been part to this successful season for Can Alberti 1740
Boutique Hotel.
Thank you, dear guests, for your trust and your very kind words about the hotel and on the team who will always be fully committed to make your stay in Menorca and in
Mahon a wonderful and unique experience.
Thank you to the artists and galleries who have chosen Can Alberti 1740 to present
their art pieces, perpetuating this way the artistic tradition and dimension of the House. We count already four exhibitions since we started: Galeria Flecha and GalerieThierry Bertrand in 2021, Galería Encant and Galerie Polka in 2022. Our artistic committee has been, as usual, of tremendous help by their advice and kind support. New exhibitions will be announced early 2023.
At last, a special mention the Solidarity Concert to the benefit of Caritas Menorca that we have organised last October in the opera theatre of Mahon, the eldest of Spain. Thanks to the cultural association Ateneu de Mao for having supported us from the start; thanks to Teatro Principal de Mahon for helping organising the event during the whole year; thanks to the Town Hall and Consell Insular de Menorca for their contribution ; thanks to all the private local companies that have sponsored the event by donating to Caritas Menorca; thanks to María Albertí de Juan, descendant of the Albertí’s family, for accompanying us during the event and sharing with a part of the history of the Albertis with us; and lastly, thanks to Caritas Menorca for trusting us in our philanthropic mission.
Many thanks to Mr Reynolds and all his team at the Reynolds Foundation. In his
outstanding mansion, we have organised an inspiring private concert the day before
the big event. Music pieces from Rachmaninoff, Bach, Debussy, Chopin, Poulenc,
Beethoven, Haydn, Glynka and St Saëns have been beautifully interpreted during the weekend by the re-known conductor and cello musician Mr. Pejman Memarzadeh as well as by Mrs. Laure Favre-Kahn, piano, Mrs. Eva Zavaro, violin and Mr Pierre Genisson, clarinet. A new classical music concert is being prepared for this year with a philanthropic purpose. We will tell you more at the beginning of the season…
Finally, we are now going to rest and prepare new projects and events to welcome
you back from March 2023.
Yours sincerely,
Sonia Pons Vidal, General Manager
