We strive to make a conscious use of water and energy, as well as to reduce and avoid the use of plastics. Thanks to this we have obtained two consecutive years the ****certificate granted by Plastic Free Balearics. In addition, this year we have built our artistic programme in the tradition of the Alberti family around a unique exhibition by the renowned French painter Olivier Suire Verley. Olivier, a native of southwest France, lives on the island of Ré, which in many ways offers some similarities with Menorca. He will be exhibiting works in various formats on themes related to travel, people and nature around the coast. The exhibition will start on the 21st of July and will last for about a month. Finally, this year we will repeat our musical weekend from 27th to 29th October, with a concert of classical chamber music in the beautiful Teatro de Mahon, the oldest opera house in Spain. Our friend and conductor, Pejman Memarzadeh, will once again lead a trio, this year including a renowned soloist, to satisfy a large Minorcan audience that has historically shown a strong taste for singing. The proceeds from this charity concert will go to a local charity for the disabled people. We are very pleased to have been the subject of several glowing articles in the Spanish and French press, which you can easily find on our website: https://www.hotelcanalberti.com/en/blog/ We look forward to your next visit to our premises. Please, do contact us to organise your next stay! Yours sincerely, Carole & Olivier Pecoux Sonia Pons-Vidal |
